This was the most intricate and demanding project that we have ever been involved with, over 4000m2 of solid Jatoba timber flooring installed over our own specification of concrete repairs, pumped screeds and damp proof membranes. With over 1,300 air diffusers and 450 stainless steel access covers set into the floor and up to 50 Loughton Operatives on site at any one time, it is something we are immensely proud of, particularly as it was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen, on time, we’d like to add!

The prestigious, high-tech facility forms part of the new Eden Centre which opened to the public in June 2008, fulfilling a 20 year dream for both the County and District Councils. , Gerflor Attraction® 5mm thick loose laid interlocking vinyl tiles were chosen. The circular cut design of the vinyl required by the Architect was all done by hand insitu by Loughton’s skilled fitting team.
